About The Author

Pamela K. Robertson  is a nationally recognized Veteran Service Officer, U.S. Army Veteran, and advocate for those who have served. During her tenure as the Brazos County Veteran Service Officer, she helped secure millions of dollars in VA benefits for veterans and their families while building one of the most successful county veteran service programs in Texas.

With more than 15 years of experience in veterans advocacy, Pamela has trained, mentored, and supported VSOs across the country. Her work has taken her from local communities to national leadership discussions, where she has championed improvements in veterans benefits, claims processing, and access to care.

Frustrated by the lack of comprehensive, real-world training resources available to new VSOs, Pamela created The VSO Playbook series. Drawing from thousands of claims, appeals, and veteran interactions, the series provides practical guidance, proven strategies, and field-tested techniques that cannot be learned from regulations alone.

Whether you are a new VSO learning the fundamentals or an experienced advocate seeking to sharpen your skills, The VSO Playbook is designed to help you serve veterans more effectively, develop stronger claims, and become a more confident advocate.

Because every veteran deserves a well-trained advocate.
